Learn Telemetry Studio
Everything you need to create stunning cycling videos with telemetry overlays.
Getting Started
1. Import Your Video
Drag and drop your cycling video into the timeline, or use Cmd/Ctrl + O to open a project.
Telemetry Studio supports most common video formats including MP4, MOV, and MKV.
2. Add Telemetry Data
Import your ride data in one of three ways:
- GPX file - GPS coordinates, elevation, timestamps
- FIT file - Full Garmin data including power, HR, cadence
- Strava sync - Connect your Strava account to import activities directly
3. Sync Video & Telemetry
Open the visual sync tool to align your video with your GPS data. Find a recognizable landmark in the video, then click the same spot on the map. Toggle between elevation, speed, and power graphs to see your ride profile while syncing. Press Sync and your telemetry lines up perfectly. You can also fine-tune the offset with the bracket keys [ and ] for 0.1s adjustments.
4. Add Overlays
Select overlays from the right sidebar. Drag them to position on your video preview. Choose from 3 visual themes: Modern, Gradient, or LED.
5. Export Your Video
Press Cmd/Ctrl + E to export. Choose your resolution (up to 4K), codec (H.264, H.265, ProRes), and quality preset.
